Snapuj Terms of Service
This is a working draft for testing and launch prep. It is not legal advice. Complete the controller details and have a lawyer review the text before a public launch.
1. General
These terms govern the Snapuj service (“Service”) operated by Tomasz Słowicki.
The Service lets hosts create private event photo galleries and a guestbook, and share them with invited guests.
Using the Service — as a registered host or as a guest without an email account — means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
Host — a person who creates an account and an event (gallery).
Guest — a person who joins via QR, invite link, or preview link (including without registering an email).
Content — photos, recordings, names, wishes and other materials added to an event.
3. The service
Snapuj provides an online service: event gallery hosting, guestbook, live slideshow, and invites (QR / link).
During the upload window guests join without a password, using the Host’s invite. After the window closes the Host may share a separate password-protected preview link for viewing only.
There is no app to download; it runs in the browser on phones and computers.
4. Host accounts and Guest access
The Host is responsible for registration data (email) and for keeping the account password safe.
A Guest may use a gallery without an email account. A technical anonymous session is created, and the Guest provides a display name that may appear next to photos and wishes.
The Host decides who receives the QR, join link, and later the preview link and password. Anyone with those credentials may access the event Content.
5. Content
Copyright in uploaded photos and recordings stays with the uploader. By uploading, you grant the Host and Snapuj a non-exclusive licence to store and display the Content within that event (gallery, guestbook, live slideshow).
Do not upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing material. The Host should have a basis to publish people’s images.
Snapuj does not automatically moderate all Content. The Host may delete materials and the event. Report abuse via the privacy contact.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for uninterrupted service but do not guarantee zero downtime.
We may update these terms. Continued use after a new version is published means acceptance, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
7. Governing law
Polish law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.
